Improving the Efficiency of Licensing and Non-Licensing Services through Knowledge Management System in Tebet Sub-district
ABSTRACT
The limited knowledge of front office officers regarding the rules or legal basis and updated information related to policy changes for several licenses and non-licenses, as well as the lack of knowledge documentation owned by each individual employee of UP PMPTSP Tebet Subdistrict encourage the need for a knowledge media. This research discusses increasing the efficiency of licensing and non-licensing services through the creation of a Knowledge Management System (KMS) at UP PMTSP Tebet District. The purpose of this research is to increase the completion time of licensing and non-licensing services based on existing provisions optimally. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the implementation of KMS can accelerate service completion by utilizing knowledge that has been documented and available centrally. The conclusion of this research is that KMS can improve the efficiency of licensing and non-licensing services at UP PMTSP Tebet District.
