ABSTRACT

The fall of Kabul this August even surprised the world’s leading strategic and military experts. The easy drawdown of Afghan national security forces was not even imagen by America-led troops in Afghanistan before the last soldier left Kabul airport the Taliban captured entire Afghanistan except Panjsheer valley. That was captured after a few days. The dramatically changed situation in Afghanistan seeded uncertainty on one hand while giving birth to new opportunities as well. Peace and stability in Afghanistan would integrate the south Asian region with Central Asia, to boost economic activities under China Pakistan Economic Corridor. This paper is an attempt to investigate these opportunities in detail.
